Corporate and Social Responsibilty

At Landmark Systems sustainability is at the heart of our business. We embrace our responsibility to the environment, customers, suppliers, staff, and the wider community. We understand that our actions impact the environment and are committed to minimising our footprint by adopting a responsible approach to energy, waste, and business processes.

We embody these principles in a number of ways:

Training and Skills Development:

We actively encourage safety and medical training, supporting employees’ requests for absence from work to study, or financial assistance for additional training, development and qualifications.

IT Development:

We respond positively to requests from local schools and organisations by providing hardware, consultation and education, where possible.

The Environment:

Landmark is delighted to have worked with Planet Mark to measure our energy efficiency and Co2 emissions as an initial stage in working towards a net zero status. You can view our certificate here.

We champion recycling, from waste separation to reducing paper usage and responsible disposal of technical equipment by donating to employees, stakeholders, charitable organizations, and community groups.

We continuously strive to reduce our carbon consumption promoting electronic communication, and encouraging public transport and shared transportation among employees.

Community Investment:

We respond positively to requests from community-focused groups, actively support rural business awards schemes, and provide our boardroom for charity meetings and local training courses free of charge.

We sponsor and encourage training for physical activities, supporting employees in their choice of charity involvement, such as long-distance cycling or marathons.

Recruitment:

We assess each applicant based on skills and aptitude, irrespective of race, gender, religion, or disability.

Health and Wellbeing:

Recognising our people as our greatest asset, we provide practical support to ensure the well-being of our staff and their families.

As part of our commitment towards staff wellbeing we participate in the Great Place to Work survey within our global company group of over 3000 employees. Landmark are very proud to have been awarded GPTW status.

At Landmark Systems, we’re not just about business; we’re about making a meaningful impact on our surroundings and the lives of those we engage with.
